New blog!

Hey everyone! Welcome to The Wire Box (thanks to Steve for helping me with the name)! There is no specific format for the blogging. You can posts any songs you like at the moment, playlists, music videos you like (or any videos/songs you've made)... This is an open forum.

HOWEVER, when you post song titles, please keep in mind that the band name goes first, then a hyphen, followed by the song name! Like so...


The Radio Dept. - Strange Things Will Happen
band - song title


Just so we're on the same page.

ALSO, make use of the "Labels for this post" section right underneath the blog entry box! Please post what genre of music you're posting and what media/entry type you're posting (e.g. If you're posting a video of MGMT's "Kids" through Youtube, type "video, indie rock, psychedelic, synthpop, dance-funk".)

Just a quick note everyone! When you're labeling your entries, please limit your labels to strictly CATEGORIES/GENRES, not the name(s) of bands/singers/musicians, songs, or albums! This will just help limit the amount of labels on the right side as well as keep the label box strictly for categories. I may edit your labels if this is the case! So if you see that a label has been missing, it's most likely just my editing.

New to The Wire Box? Introduce yourself (and include a song or two if you'd like)! Refer to my Update: Reactions post for details on posting a quick profile of yourself. We may be coming up with themed posts soon so stay tuuuuned!

By the way, make searching for your posts easy by ADDING YOUR USERNAME/AUTHOR NAME (not your actual name...unless that's your username) AS A LABEL! This way you'll be able to find your name in "the label box." section and see all the posts you've previously made.
