Anyway, Jerick's post on No Doubt and the apparently start of a 10 Things I hate About You TV show made me think of the now defunct Save Ferris. The OC has had a pretty big ska-punk music scene which includes Save Ferris, No Doubt, Reel Big Fish, RX Bandits, the Supertones, and many others, but yeah.

Edit (3:19pm): Also after the cut, a new Auto-tune the News. Either people are talking more musically, or they're putting more work in this or both.

The bassist of Save Ferris went on to form a band called Red Panda with the old guitarist/vocalist (John Tran) of Home Grown.
